The five-meter installation was created by the artist specifically for the Waterfront eco-industrial exhibition project at the Sevkabel plant.

Dmitry Pilikin, curator of the Waterfront exhibition, comments: "The project of Danita Pushkareva looks like a showcase for a fashion boutique; it includes institutional and environmental criticism of advertising design. The huge industry and talent of thousands of professionals are aimed at creating spectacular packaging that lives a short life in the utilitarian format of "one-time objects." Modern technologies and materials give a run-of-the-mill thing a noble shade of "art object", but the life of this object is very short. After the journey "from the store to the house," the package gets to the landfill and becomes part of the environmental ecological problem. According to the idea of the artist, only "secondary processing" of this material in art objects can change the situation. At the same time, the provocative question posed by the author remains: "Where is the packing of art and where is art itself?"

Пяти метровая инсталляция была создана художником специально для эко индустриального выставочного проекта Waterfront на заводе Севкабель.

Куратор выставки Waterfront Дмитрий Пиликин комментирует: "Инсталляция «Магазин упакованного искусства», который выглядит как витрина модного бутика, включает в себя институциональную и экологическую критику рекламного дизайна. Огромная индустрия и талант тысяч профессионалов направлены на создание эффектной упаковки, проживающей недолгую жизнь в утилитарном формате «одноразовых объектов». Современные технологии и материалы способны придать даже тиражной вещи благородный оттенок «объекта искусства», но жизнь этого объекта весьма коротка. После путешествия «магазин-дом» он попадает на свалку и становится частью экологической проблемы. По идее художника, только «вторичная переработка» этого материала в объекты искусства, способна изменить ситуацию. При этом, на скрытом плане остается заложенный автором провокационный вопрос: «Где тут упаковка искусства и где само искусство? "
